Thermophobia
- OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

In the name of rules
Project The Power of Line inherited the idea from project SignHack HK, about power, listed or unwritten rules in the society. The abstracted element from the previous project, color, forms and temporarily was used as material in this project. Transformed into a language, to represent the power of rules and regulation in our lived space.
This project is a sub-collection under the project "The Power of line". The direct application of lines on the body presented the idea of rules and regulation acting on me, in a way of figurative sense. The senses of rules, strangely and violently trampling on a body. Provide a visual impact to the audience. -
I just want to cast my shadow in the square
This project is a sub-collection under the project "The Power of line". The idea of the temporary moment of my body shadow fully cast into a square, represented my consciousness trying to fit in some rules or regulation. The repetitive jumping action outside of the square box, present the struggle of my inner self. The extremely short moment of the shadow fully filled, displayed an attitude of unwilling to be in it. The body outside of the box and let the shadow get it. Its just pretended fit it.
Sometimes I am fitted in but just not getting into it. -
Temporary Sculpture
This project is a sub-collection under the project "The Power of line". An idea of use line as a tool of power representation, to reinterpret the meaning of a space along with our world. The encounter of unattended objects was captured by using color duct tape circle around it. They transformed into a temporary sculpture "artwork" within a highlighted exhibition space. The uncanny objects created a special visual experience of a city landscape. -
signHackHK (phase 2)
Along with the development of project SignHackHK, I am changing the idea into three dimensional and site-specific art. I create a slippery flood sign A-board and put them in front difference kind of place. The action I did was generated the meaning by the place and warning signage itself. -
signHackHK (phase 1)
Project SignHack HK was a street art project initiated by phenomenon overwhelming amount of slippery floor warning signage appeared all around the city. It was triggered my interest to investigate the idea and the power of that signage itself. Also, I was re-interpretation the meaning of slippery sign by changing the appearance of its original graphics. -
fragility (ceramic project)
An experimental ceramic work, using the property of fragility of ceramic material as the idea. I made some ceramic "paper" and do origami work with it. -
Pixel crystal
Pixel crystal series is a work for the group exhibition "A for...", the idea of the show is a program to response our peer group artwork in throughout three years of art study. In this project, I am using the pixel concept in my previous painting work to reply two peers' artwork. One work is about Yao Chuk Ni's work, the relationship between her and her mother. Another work, about Carrie Cheng's pass away pet cat.
